Saul Murray born and raised in Los Santos. Born into a middle-class family, Saul was the eldest of three siblings, navigating the challenges of life with his brothers. From a young age his fascination with crime and criminology set him apart. While his friends dreamed of becoming doctors, engineers, or lawyers. He found solace in the pages of crime novels and detective stories. His eyes would light up as he delved into the mysteries and intricacies of criminal investigations, fueled by his passion for solving puzzles.
However, despite his enthusiasm for criminology, he faced a financial barrier that prevented him from pursuing a college education. His parents, hardworking but struggling to make ends meet, couldn't afford to send him to a university. Undeterred, He took odd jobs and attended community college part-time, dreaming of the day when he could fully immerse himself in the world of crime and forensics. As he worked to support his family, he never lost sight of his goal. He devoured every crime novel he could find, attended local seminars on criminal investigations and honed his observation skills. Listening to the experiences of the criminal investigators and medical examiners he met at these seminars, he decided to apply to the LSDMEC as a starting point and prepared his application, realizing that he could start working at entry level in a Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, earn enough money to live on, and then move up in the career by studying criminology.
