Farah Al-Suleiman - Write your character’s background story (Minimum 200 words): Cassia Argyros was born on Kefalonia, Greece in 1996 and was brought up without a father figure as he estranged himself from the family when she was quite young. On the turn of the century when Cassia was four years old, her mother met an American national who was there on holiday and fell in love with him quite quickly. As an alternative for her step father to move to Greece, Cassia and her mother abandoned their lives on the Greek Islands and immigrated to the United States on a spousal immigration visa which in turn made her an American national. Brought up in Los Santos on Alta, Cassia was born with a silver spoon in her mouth from the get go. Rich parents who were ready to buy her anything at any point (Within reason, of course) and naturally gave her a fast track into Harvard or Yale.
Cassia, with the determination to make her own name and be her own disciple, opted to disregard any financial assistance from her parents and sought out to make it on her own. Her mother allowed the money to get to her head whilst her step-father practically paid for anything that her mother wanted. Cassia was born in poverty, but was brought up in a middle-class household though never allowed the frivolous purchases of her mother to sway her path. She went to a public school, wore second-hand clothes and lived as if she only had a few dollars to her name. She earned her way to the University of Los Santos, earning her Bachelor's in Biochemistry with honours and graduated in 2022, whilst occasionally working at a Greek-Mediterranian grocery store a few blocks from her home.
Cassia intended to take a gap year away from Los Santos, to possibly return back home for a full year to take a break from everything. Sunny beaches and gyros, but the lazy lifestyle quickly ran its course and she returned six months into her gap year. When she went home, her mother and step-father moved across the country and quite literally forgot Cassia ever existed. A societal drain who never accepted any handouts, Cassia now found herself needing to use her degree more than ever.
