Nurgul moved to Texas from Kazakhstan when she was 8 years old. Nurgul is described as quiet, introverted, and often in her own world. Nurgul has been obsessed with true crime since her childhood, due to her neighborhood in Kazakhstan having frequent unsolved disappearances. Her mother dreamed of her becoming a doctor. Nurgul tried her best to succeed in school, but she just couldn't excel. She managed to obtain a biology degree but couldn't get into any med school. Nurgul spent a couple years trying to fulfill her mother's dream but decided to stop and find herself instead. Nurgul looked into what kind of careers would suit her silent lifestyle. She decided to try being a librarian. Nurgul spent her days listening to true crime stories in the library. She heard so many cases that took place in Los Santos and started to become obsessed with the city. So Nurgul packed her bags and moved to Los Santos, hoping to see the crime and corruption first hand. Once Nurgul arrived she continued to work in a library. She noticed that nothing really happened around her and started to wonder how she could be more involved in her interests while staying safe. Nurgul gravitated towards making friends who had inside scoops about what shocking things were going on behind the scenes in the city. The more stories she heard the more she knew she needed to get closer to the source. Nurgul's morbid curiosity might be her downfall or the key to her finding her place in the world.
