Exhumation in the Canyon

On Monday, the 28th of June 2021, at approximately 17:07. The Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner were informed by Local Law Enforcement of discovery of buried remains within Raton Canyon, Cassidy Trail.
The Special Operations response team, as well as Medical Examiners, were dispatched to the incident to aid Law Enforcement with their investigation. During the investigation, two corpses were discovered to been buried with clear signs of foul play.
Officers from the Los Santos Police Department and Rangers from the San Andreas Park Rangers were in attendance, securing the scene, as the Medical Examiners and Coroners were conducting their findings of the exhumation.
Members of the Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner arrived at the scene, the mortal remains of the two victims was still in the beginning of the decomposition phase. Powerful odors and toxic fumes were releasing from the two victims. Medical Examiners Dimos Angelides and Allen Chang were able to collect samples of the soil where the victims were buried.
The retrieval of the mortal remains was handled by ex-Chief Deputy Coroner Ellie Sooth and current standing Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner Dante Rosenberg from the Special Operations response team as well as Deputy Coroner (II) Felix Williams.
